Okay, now that I've experienced the Burbank Police first hand I can tell you that all of my worst fears have been confirmed.
Some of these are:
1) Cops are stupid. (After my husband admitted he had had five beers [this was not late at night and more than likely was an under-estimate], the police report said that he 'did not appear intoxicated' . Did they take a test of his blood alcohol level? No! (If you know someone who is a cop and they aren't stupid that's great but I hope they are moving up to detective or something because I think it's a sucky job that is done by people who don't have the ability to do something better. Maybe it should be a community service job because they aren't really watching our asses out there...I feel I been butt-humped BTW!
2) Burbank's reputation for being a nice, safe place is fine until they come knocking at your door. Yeah, I admitted I slapped him first (he called me a f*cking c*nt in front of my children (we are going through a divorce) he slapped me back. I went to jail not him because I hit first...I was the 'primary aggressor.'
3) I will tell you more if there is anybody out there who even cares about this tribe any more and responds to this post.
Thanks.
LJ
P.S. I had never been arrested before in my life. I'm the good girl next door.
